I’m an artist and children’s art teacher based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Through drawing, paper cutting, and playful experimentation, I try to create spaces where creativity feels calm, curious, and joyful.
My work often begins with drawing and evolves into layered paper illustrations built from cut shapes, color, and texture.
I’m drawn to the unexpected ideas that emerge when experimenting without a fixed outcome.
Many of my pieces are created as part of small creative projects, like daily drawing or illustration challenges, where exploration and curiosity guide the process.
My artwork
I create layered paper illustrations and drawings inspired by playful storytelling and simple materials. Many of these pieces are available in the shop.
Creativity often grows from trying things that don’t work the first time.
Both in my artwork and in my classes, I encourage experimentation, patience, and the freedom to explore ideas without pressure. These small moments of discovery are often where the most interesting work begins.
Teaching
Alongside my studio work, I teach small-group art classes for elementary-age children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In these classes, students explore drawing, painting, and creative prompts designed to build confidence and curiosity. The focus is always on experimentation rather than perfection.
My long-term goal is to create a welcoming studio space where children and adults can explore creativity together—through classes, workshops, and open studio time.
